Production & Shipping

When you order a custom made bag from our Made to Order collection, It takes 6-9 weeks to complete production of your bag. We operate on a first come first serve basis that depends on our current stock and leather availability as our materials are occasionally backordered if they are in high demand. We are working on growing our production so that hopefully it won't always take this long.

*In Stock* collection items are usually shipped within 24-48 hours of your order and you will receive a tracking number via the email you provided when the order is packaged and shipped. Our shipping carriers pick up earlier in the day and can't always come back, so if you place and order after they have already come for the day it will go out at a later time, usually the next day.

Economy shipping is a flat rate shipping option that does not include extra insurance and is packaged in the most cost efficient box which means your bag may be folded or packed more tightly than it would be otherwise.  Because this method only uses standard insurance, which doesn't always cover the total of the package, we can not take responsibility for loss or damage in transit.  This shipping method is limited to packages under 1 pound. 

Our other shipping options include insurance for the full price of the purchase.  These options are best for larger bags and more delicate materials such as travel bags, totes, and python items. All quoted transit times on the website are an estimate and not a guarantee. If you need an item for a specific time/date please call us so we can make sure to get the item out or discuss other options. 

We have provided the Economy Shipping option due to popular demand for a less expensive option.  Shipping is very expensive and we are doing our best to give an option for smaller items, but with that option there are some sacrifices such as loss of insurance and more compact packaging. 

We have two ways to order, in stock and made to order.  If you order an in stock item and a custom piece you will see a higher shipping cost.  That is because we ship your in stock item out immediately and the custom bag will be shipped when it is complete.  

We wrap your bag in brown paper or a cloth dust cover before we package it up to protect it from damage in transit.  We do not use plastic to wrap your bag because it can and will damage the leather if it gets warm. 

Whatever route your bag takes, know that we are super-excited for you to receive it.


Return Policy

While we are so sad to hear that you aren't in love with you new bag and we do have a few options for you.

If you have not used your bag yet, you may exchange it for store credit to be used in the future towards anything we make and sell. If you purchased an item on sale it is not eligible for return or exchange.

We have streamlined our returns process and now you can request a return from your accountHere is a quick video that shows you how to request a return. 

We now offer a return label for your return, an $8 fee will be taken off of the store credit for the shipping. Please let us know if you would prefer to send the item back yourself and we can accommodate that as well.

Please contact us right away if there is an issue with the bag so we can do our best to make it right.  Accidents happen from time to time and we are human so we will do our best to fix any issues that arise.    

Do not put anything sticky on the returned item (tape, post it notes, etc). Doing so will damage the leather and void the return. Your item will then be shipped back to you.

If you are unhappy with a custom order and would like something else custom (or something that is currently not in stock) you will be placed in the queue with the date of the new order and are subject to the current turnaround times.  All turnaround times are estimates and are subject to change at any time.

Our system has limitations and therefore we can only exchange items one time for store credit.  This means if you have returned an item for store credit and purchase something else with that credit we cannot exchange that item.

Custom orders may be subject to a restocking fee.  

Please remember we are a small business run by real people. We appreciate your kindness and understanding while we work to fix any issues.
